1. I often SHOP RETAIL
I often take my clients shopping at shop at local retailers. This means that you're getting my expert designer advice to help you buy quality, durable and good value products that will last - but you're paying no more than you normally would for product, saving potentially $1,000s on mistakes if you do end up choosing the wrong thing.
2. YOU’LL MAKE THE MOST OF WHAT YOU HAVE
There are huge potential savings working with me from the outset - by getting really clear on what can be reused, and what new pieces are going to make the biggest difference to your space. Thinking really carefully about what's in your space now what's any new item needs to work well with will help ensure you choose something that's going to fit. It will help you avoid opening up a can of worms when a new piece clashes with some of your other pieces - the potential domino effect can be expensive!
3. YOU’LL AVOID REPLACING THINGS UNNECESSARILY
You might be considering replacing something (even if you love it) because you can't make it work well. But I could potentially help you make it work perfectly well in a different location, or used in a different way. So if you’re considering getting rid of something - call me first and let’s see if we can make it work (yes we can even connect virtually!)
4. YOU’LL AVOID SCATTERGUN DECORATING
Rather than choosing things in a sort of piecemeal fashion, and hoping that the end result is going to be one that you really love and look that scattergun approach can work, but many times it's not as it's not as cohesive as it could be/
Working with me, you'll get clear on the overall look and feel at the start of the process, and of course you'll get much clearer on your personal style so that any purchases you make going forward are much more likely to fit well with your vibe.
5. SAVE YOUR YOUR SANITY AND YOUR WEEKENDS
By not having to do the legwork, you’ll save a lot of time and energy shopping around, and let’s face it, shopping around without a plan is no fun! It’s overwhelming - not to mention risky!
I can pull a mood board of suggested product so you can see visually how your space will look - and I’ll do it much more quickly, so you can avoid having to traipse around the shops. It takes me less time because I know what's out there can hone in on the retailers that are going to be the most appropriate for your needs.
6. YOU’LL CLARIFY YOUR STYLE
Getting clear on your style, gives you a really solid foundation for building the new vibe for your home. And when I say “new”, I don't mean something that's entirely different, but rather a fresh new look for your space that seamlessly incorporates pieces that you already own and love. You’ll then gain a better understanding of your style so that any future purchases you make for your home are likely to fit the bill!
